[What ensues is writing in a disguised hand and without the liberty of a picture to be seen. It is a simple set of questions designed to let Ganondorf get a sense of the people of Luceti. His conversations will likely be short and to the point, unless he should find himself intrigued.]

At what lengths would you go in order to obtain power? For what purpose would you seek to gain it?

[Satisfied with that, he leaves it at that. Later in the day, after responding to the questions, Ganondorf can be found leaving building six and traveling north on horseback, passing the plaza and proceeding until he reaches the mountains. Catch his attention if you like. He is in no rush to reach his destination, but he does not suffer fools lightly.]

[This entry catches Yuan's interest. He isn't entirely sure why he's bothering to respond to this. Perhaps it's because he's feeling restless. Perhaps because he's feeling awfully powerless himself right about now.

Whichever the case, he knows he won't be doing this publicly. He's going to take a leaf out of the questioner's book and cover the journal's camera. His handwriting is far more untidy than it usually would be, but not so bad that it's illegible. Over the past few years, he's managed to give Lloyd and his companions a better opinion of himself, which is why he's prepared to hide how bitter he really is inside. And just how far he's willing to go to reach his goals.

[This is actually putting it mildly. Innocent young girls have stood in his way without realizing they did so, only to be slaughtered on his order. However, that isn't something he is particularly proud of and he would avoid repeating such sacrifices if he can.]

[A man who will do anything for his ambition. Well then. This may be just what he is looking for.]

[A small pause. Then he decides he might as well add a filter to this conversation. In fact, it was a bit of a gross oversight not to do that sooner.

[There's much insight to be gained here. Whatever he is protecting, it is something that men need, but do not value. What sort of thing might that be?]

Given the means, how would you educate man?

There is no point in educating. They would not learn. [A pause before he continues writing.] Rather, they would forget their lessons in due time.

However, that is far from the original topic, isn't it?

I disagree. If you do not intend to educate them, then you must intend to use power to ensure their ignorance does no more harm.

Of course..

Some might consider such measures extreme.

That depends on how the power is put to use. Either way, it is also necessary.

No doubt you would find such power useless here.

[Another pause before he responds.] There are not many things worth protecting in this world.

[Somehow, that sounds rather selfish. Then again, it depends on what this man is referring to when he says "his people".]

[Not exactly that. But it's close enough.]

[That's a noble enough cause to want power, as long as it doesn't go to this man's head.]
