[What ensues is writing in a disguised hand and without the liberty of a picture to be seen. It is a simple set of questions designed to let Ganondorf get a sense of the people of Luceti. His conversations will likely be short and to the point, unless he should find himself intrigued.]

At what lengths would you go in order to obtain power? For what purpose would you seek to gain it?

[Satisfied with that, he leaves it at that. Later in the day, after responding to the questions, Ganondorf can be found leaving building six and traveling north on horseback, passing the plaza and proceeding until he reaches the mountains. Catch his attention if you like. He is in no rush to reach his destination, but he does not suffer fools lightly.]

No man is, really. Every one who does will abuse it.

And especially of men who think themselves gods.

I see. [Well. He was bound to run into people like this.] Who then should wield power if no one is fit to have it?

That, unfortunately, is the history of the world. Someone must have power. Or, perhaps, someone will always think they must have power. It is human nature, really.

So they go to whatever lengths they must to obtain it. Perhaps they use it well for a time, perhaps not. Eventually, they abuse it.

And when they do, someone else feels that they deserve power instead, and they will go to any lengths to either obtain their own power or take that which is already established.

And the cycle goes on.

A pessimistic way of thinking, to be sure. Do you have no faith in man at all?

I have the utmost faith in the ideals and idealism of man. I have little, if any, faith when man seeks to actualise those ideals.

A reasonable conclusion. Yet the world will never be free of men who seek to change the world, for ideals either noble or selfish.

No. The cycle will never cease, not unless something drastic changes in the very core of men.
