[It has been some time since Ganondorf has been in the village. After accepting a mission on the second, he merely took his leave the next day without communicating his absence to anyone. He made assurances his steed would be able to survive on his own and that was that. So after twelve long days of combat, he is finally back in the village late in the afternoon. Yet however powerful he might be, not even the Triforce would seem to stand up to the Shifters he encountered. Consequently he has returned to the village wounded, ragged, and just a bit on edge.
His injuries make his armor too uncomfortable and have made him concerned it has negatively impacted his speed. So today he goes to the Battle Dome wearing some loose, flowing black robes. Despite having received two Gerudo scimitars as his prize, he leaves all his weapons behind. He will manage to set himself up a simple scenario of a desert landscape, fighting shrouded warriors. Though not identifiable to anyone, he requested the computer model their abilities and combat abilities off some of his potential enemies within Luceti. More than that, he has disabled the ability to use powers. After being placed in this very scenario during his mission, he does not want to risk making himself so vulnerable. He needs to be able to fight without weapons, armor, or magic at his disposal. The way he was once excelled at in his training to become king. Despite all that, he is fighting with very clear injuries. Notably he walks with a painful limp. He lacks healing magic and has too much pride to request someone deal with it for him.
In the late evening, he will be walking with this same limp on his way to the plaza where he aims to request a hot meal from Seventh Heaven, which he intends to take home and eat in privacy. He is not looking for company or conversation, but he will act amicable if approached. As much as he can stand at least.
The next morning, on the 16th sees his very first snow fall, which he soon finds a distaste for. He deems this an appropriate time for a brief voice message to settle some business.]
Midna. I would have words with you. Let us find a place we can speak.
[That should do it. Unfortunately due to not knowing how to stop it recording, the journal will also catch him muttering to himself:] I grow weary of this accursed weather.

Date: 2011-11-16 02:39 am (UTC)We'll meet when the sunsets. What place would be acceptable? [If it's not a place she likes she will be determined to change it.]

Date: 2011-11-16 02:55 am (UTC)Sunset it is. The roof of Building Six. [It's far from the village and it would be difficult to spy on them there. He also believes Midna will find it amicable enough. He assumes her powers would be sufficient for her to easily escape if she wished to do so.]

Date: 2011-11-16 01:15 pm (UTC)You're very prompt.
[Voice]
Date: 2011-11-16 04:28 pm (UTC)Naturally. It was I who called this meeting, after all. [But he sees little reason to waste time on pleasantries, so he will press on.] No doubt you know why I wish to speak with you.

Date: 2011-11-17 05:23 pm (UTC)The mask I wore forced me to say things I would have not cared to share. I will not bother dismissing them as lies. They were indeed the truth, but there is more to be said on the matter.

Date: 2011-11-25 04:45 pm (UTC)My first confession. What was done to your realm was unfortunate, but I did what I felt necessary. I cannot say why or how, but I was given a great power. One greater than any has ever been given in our world. [He pulls his hand forward, letting the Triforce's mark shimmer.] Only the ruler of the Twili would be able to see my escape through.
[It's not much of an apology. But he's not done yet.]
But Zant was a naive fool. So eager for power that in the end, he did nothing but abuse it. A king who would turn his blade against his own people is not fit to rule. In my haste to escape to my own world, I left yours in the hands of a madman. That I do regret.
[He turns around, his cape sweeping behind him, until he faces her once more.]
Tell me, Twilight Princess, if I had made you the same offer of power, would you have unleashed me to the world of light?
[lol whoops this should be action - Action]
Date: 2011-11-25 04:56 pm (UTC)Yes. [Back then she would have, but now she thinks different. The selfless acts of Princess Zelda and Link were enough to change her point of view.]
[ACTION OOPS]
Date: 2011-11-25 05:04 pm (UTC)Then I was in error. When I found Zant, he was but my first glimpse into your people. He was weak, desperate, and without hope. He seemed the easiest route to achieving my ends. I have always been a proud man, as fitting the Gerudo. We are a people who have have forever toiled to survive. [He shakes his head, a faint smile.] To think I took the easy route, when another option was before me.

Date: 2011-11-25 06:42 pm (UTC)The cursed form you now bear was created by power borrowed from me. My power may be diminished here, but it is possible that I can reverse it. [Not immediately, perhaps. There is a bit of Twili magic mixed up in there and that makes it tricky. But given time and research... he could manage it.]
