Fourth Sin - [Action/Voice]

[It has been some time since Ganondorf has been in the village. After accepting a mission on the second, he merely took his leave the next day without communicating his absence to anyone. He made assurances his steed would be able to survive on his own and that was that. So after twelve long days of combat, he is finally back in the village late in the afternoon. Yet however powerful he might be, not even the Triforce would seem to stand up to the Shifters he encountered. Consequently he has returned to the village wounded, ragged, and just a bit on edge.

His injuries make his armor too uncomfortable and have made him concerned it has negatively impacted his speed. So today he goes to the Battle Dome wearing some loose, flowing black robes. Despite having received two Gerudo scimitars as his prize, he leaves all his weapons behind. He will manage to set himself up a simple scenario of a desert landscape, fighting shrouded warriors. Though not identifiable to anyone, he requested the computer model their abilities and combat abilities off some of his potential enemies within Luceti. More than that, he has disabled the ability to use powers. After being placed in this very scenario during his mission, he does not want to risk making himself so vulnerable. He needs to be able to fight without weapons, armor, or magic at his disposal. The way he was once excelled at in his training to become king. Despite all that, he is fighting with very clear injuries. Notably he walks with a painful limp. He lacks healing magic and has too much pride to request someone deal with it for him.

In the late evening, he will be walking with this same limp on his way to the plaza where he aims to request a hot meal from Seventh Heaven, which he intends to take home and eat in privacy. He is not looking for company or conversation, but he will act amicable if approached. As much as he can stand at least.

The next morning, on the 16th sees his very first snow fall, which he soon finds a distaste for. He deems this an appropriate time for a brief voice message to settle some business.]

Midna. I would have words with you. Let us find a place we can speak.

[That should do it. Unfortunately due to not knowing how to stop it recording, the journal will also catch him muttering to himself:] I grow weary of this accursed weather.

[No nod, but he answers in turn. Almost regally, really.]

I am Ganondorf. [He glances towards the restaurant momentarily.] The battle did not give us time to properly speak.

Even still, given the chance I would have sought you out afterwards. I believe I owe you my thanks for aiding me in that fight.

We had a common enemy. It would have been foolish not to work together.

[She notices him glancing at the restaurant.] Ah, I'm sorry - were you about to enter?

[dragmire]

[Oh. Given himself away, hasn't he.]

It was my destination, but I am in no hurry. [Just. A little famished. He hasn't eaten today.] Is it not also yours?

It is. [Stepping back, then!] After you.

[... well, then. Hopefully she isn't planning on eating with him. He'll step inside first. Excuse him while he places an order first. If she listens in, she'll hear that it's to go. At which point he'll be standing aside, waiting for it to be made. Now then. How does idle chit chat work?]

This frigid weather is oppressive. [There we go.]

[She's hanging back, which should hopefully clue him in that she's not planning to stay and have dinner or anything, either.]

Some say so, yes. You come from a warmer climate, I assume?

My people hail from the desert. Though the nights are cold, they are never quite so brutal.

[It's a dry cold. Moisture in the air always seems to make things worse.]

Ii know what you mean; my formative years were spent in the desert as well. Later on, I moved to a land with a climate similar to Luceti's - it was something that took some getting used to. [not that temperate climes are bad - just different for her, at first.]

Indeed? [Well. Perhaps she may be of use.] For how long should I expect this chill to persist?

A few more months, at the very least. And it will only get colder, I'm afraid. [Have a sympathetic smile, Ganon.]

Then I will need to make preparations for such.

[He is scowling at the thought. It likely means he will have to give up on the armor for awhile.]

There's not much to do. Dress warmly, yes, but the houses and apartments have their own heating systems, as well. [All for free, too. So convenient.]

Of that I am well aware. [He already turned his apartment into a sauna on accident once.]

Then you know that as long as you stay indoors for majority of the winter, you shouldn't have much difficulty.

Perhaps. But I have never been one to sit idle. [Not entirely true. But he doesn't want to spend the whole season sitting around when he has plotting to do.]
